What’s going on in this picture?-Thinking Skills

Look closely at the photograph that has been stripped of its caption.
What’s going on in this picture?

What do you see in this picture? (not everything is obvious)
I can see...      I notice.....      I think that......

Predict what might have happened before or after.
Before this moment....       After this...        I predict that....

Can you connect yourself or something else to this picture?
I relate to this because....       It reminds me of...        I remember when.....

What else do you think about when you see this picture?
It makes me think....         I wonder.....

Ask a question.
I wonder…       I’d like to find out…       what, when, why, how, where, who?

What emotions do you see in this picture?
I can see....         I get the feel that.....

How does this picture make you feel?
It makes me feel....          If I was there I would feel.....

  13. I think that people have maybe been on an Antarctica expedition and that they set up their tents on the seals breeding grounds and/or territory. So I believe that the seals have come and trampled over their tents and attempted to drive them out.

  14. Hikers were on a mountain in snow. and destroyed their tents. But the people have to just stand there and maybe because seals are very vicious so they cant get their gear

  21. I think that all the seals came because they saw the tents and thought whats that and went over, and the seals also might of smelt the food and came over. The people were probaly thinking why are there so many seals and they might of been worried or surprised.

  22. Or if the people found a huge colony of them. and people were surprised with how many there were. and the colony went right past their tents and broke them.
